Rehabilitation
Resources Empower Practice; Practice Advances Knowledge
Research reveals how squirrels adapt to urban environments. Rehabilitation intervenes when injury, displacement, or other challenges exceed an animal’s ability to cope. We study squirrels, and we help them—putting knowledge into practice to support squirrels when they need care.

Post-Release Monitoring & Behavioral Documentation
Rehabilitation does not end at release. We support post-release observation and behavioral documentation to better understand how rehabilitated squirrels transition back to natural environments. These observations can help evaluate care practices, refine pre-release preparation, and identify new questions for scientific investigation.
